Financial Assistance:
Traditional MS and PhD students are eligible to apply for Pathobiology Graduate Research Assistantships or Microbiology Graduate Teaching Assistantships, regardless of whether they are in- or out-of-state. Applied MS students cannot apply for assistantships. The application deadline for assistantships is in April for Fall and Spring semester awards. Assistantships are competitive and we have more applicants than awards. Application guidelines and forms, as well as other information can be found here.
Please note that all students on departmental assistantships must enroll in 10 units in both Fall and Spring semesters. Students on assistantships pay only 30% of in-state tutition (out-of-state students receive an in-state waiver).
Full information on tuition costs can be found here.
