Graduate Program Application Process
The following outlines
the application process for admission to the Microbiology Graduate Program at
the University of Arizona. Admissions decisions are made by the Microbiology
Graduate Program Committee.
Both domestic and international student applications can be completed on-line at: https://apply.grad.arizona.edu.

Curriculum vitae. |

Three letters of recommendation, by professors who should evaluate your potential for graduate studies. Make sure to include copies of the confidentiality waiver (see the instructions on the form). |

6.
|
Personal statement of interest. Describe, in detail, the goals which you expect to achieve during, and as a result of, your graduate work in the Microbiology Graduate Program at the University of Arizona. This statement will be given strong consideration by the Graduate Program Committee and should be carefully constructed. |

7.

Official copies of all college and university transcripts. Please note that we need original, certified, official transcripts from each college you have attended subsequent to graduation from high school. Certified translations must be provided for transcripts that are not in English. Photocopies are not acceptable. We prefer that transcripts be mailed directly to the Department (address below) from the issuing office of the institutions you have attended. If they are submitted by the applicant, they must be sealed in a tamper proof envelope, signed and/or officially stamped across the seal by an officer of the issuing institution. |

Application Deadlines:
For domestic applicants, your application should be received no later than February 28, 2009, to be considered for Fall 2009 admission.
For international applicants, your application should be received no later than December 1, 2008, to be considered for Fall 2009 admission.
