The Arizona-Southern Nevada Branch
of the American Society for Microbiology is
composed of microbiologists from Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada. It offers educational
and networking opportunities for all interested persons. The Branch organization
is centered around six institutions: Arizona
State University, Northern Arizona University,
University of Arizona, University of Nevada,
Las Vegas, Touro University International
and Community College of Southern Nevada.
Each university in turn is the host of the branch annual meeting. Information
on the next annual meeting as well as the national general meeting can be found
on the annual meeting page. The announcement of award
winners from the previous meeting is on our news page.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide educational
opportunities for high school, community college, and university students
as well as professional microbiologists at all levels. These opportunities
are embodied in the annual meeting that is usually held in the spring.
